David Syme plays Ritmüller in one of Ireland’s largest venues.

World renown artist plays Ritmüller on stage in Cork, the largest city outside of Dublin, Republic of Ireland.  Alongside the Cork Concert  Orchestra, Ritmüller and David Syme filled the 1200 seat Cork City Hall in the midst of this historic city as the centre piece of the Cork City Lord Mayor’s 59th Gala Christmas Concert on 7th December 2019.  Hosted by the Lord Mayor, Cllr. John Sheehan, the concert in aid of local charities was attended by some of the highest serving public dignitaries in the Republic of Ireland.  The Lord Mayor’s speech specifically thanked everyone at Pearl River Piano Group for the beautiful Ritmüller 188 grand piano supplied for the concert. Amongst a wide repertoire, David Syme and the Cork Concert Orchestra played the 3rd movement, Piano Concerto No.1 in Bb Minor, Op.23 by Tchaikovsky and David Syme played a captivating solo of Etude Op25 No.11 (“Winter Wind”) by Chopin. Ritmüller is rapidly increasing its popularity in the UK and Ireland, as discerning pianists appreciate the superior tone and feel of both pianos and grand pianos.
