pearl river guitars shine at all-star charity weekend

Pearl River Guitars, renowned for handcrafting instruments designed for working musicians, took center stage at the 11th Annual Celebrity Benefit Weekend hosted by Bread of Life Ministry Inc. and the Museum of the Coal Industry. Esteemed musicians Keith Burns and Sherry Carlisle proudly showcased their Pearl River guitars during performances, highlighting the brand’s commitment to supporting artists and meaningful causes.

Festivities kicked off on Friday with special performances at the Evansville Protestant Home, followed by a Gospel Concert and dinner at North Friendship General Baptist Church’s fellowship hall. Saturday saw the Celebrity Benefit Golf Scramble, where musicians and attendees, including Keith Burns, participated in friendly competition, with a silent auction adding to the charitable spirit of the day.

Sunday’s activities unfolded at the Museum of the Coal Industry, where guests enjoyed a Cowboy Church service, explored a classic car show, and took part in guided museum tours. The event culminated in a high-energy country concert featuring Keith Burns, whose performance, alongside other notable artists, brought the weekend to a memorable close.

The star-studded lineup throughout the weekend included performances by Keith Burns (Founder of Trick Pony), Cody McCarver (formerly of Confederate Railroad, now with Outlaw Gospel), Birdie Nichols (Singer/Songwriter), Austin Glover (Gospel Music Singer/Songwriter), Colton Potter (Gospel Praise Band), Diamond Farnsworth (Actor/Stuntman, NCIS), Nashville’s Red Ridge Riders Band, and the legendary Chuckwagon Gang, a country gospel group formed in 1935.

Seeing talented, working musicians perform with Pearl River guitars in such an intimate and meaningful setting was a moment of immense pride for Leng Tshua, Pearl River’s Global Director of Sales & Marketing. “It’s an honor for Pearl River Guitars to be part of an event that so beautifully blends music, community, and charitable giving,” Tshua said.
